What A Day!

Wow. My first real New Comics Day. The first one where people came in specifically to get new books. Actually had a guy standing there as I took books out of the boxes, grabbing things.

I did almost triple my best day so far. And I sold everything, new, back issue, gaming, toys. And I still do not have a sign up. But it is in the store, so it will be up soon.

And I sold out of things I never thought would even sell. Batman and the Mad Monk, American Virgin. Wild

This is going to be fun. Now let’s see how much I can grow this.

Yes, I am still here

I have been meaning to post, but I wanted to wait until I had pics and kept forgetting the camera.



Great sign, huh? Well, at least they have the lights up where a sign is going to be. Maybe. Someday. I am not really counting this time as being open until the real sign goes up. Then I can start advertising and really promoting the store.

Open for Business

Well, I have a sign, kind of now. So at least people know what I am selling. The actual sign isn't up yet (or designed for that matter) but there is a temporary one up.

1 customer since so far. Bought OMAC 3. Wheeee!

I forgot the cable to get pics out of the camera, so I will post pics later.

Frustrating

No sign yet, although I was promised it would be up by today, so nobody knows I am there. I opened and had 1 customer who knew I was opening today. The landlord is doing the signs, so I have no leverage to get it done. All phone calls and e-mails go unanswered. I guess the next rent check is going to be a bit late.
