A Home at Last
Well, I may have finally found a home. I have been quite disillusioned with the 2 spaces I have been looking at. Neither were great and were more than I wanted to spend. The fact that I would not even be able to see inside the one I was leaning towards until the end of the month caused me great concern. When they raised the rent $200 a month, saying I misunderstood the first amount they told me, red flags started going up.
I found an old note and called a spot across the street. It no longer had a sign up, but I figured I'd give it a shot. It is a really funky space, the corner unit on a wide v -shaped building. There were other people interested, so I got my deposit in today. It seems real now. Now I just await the lease and start thinking about what I need to get going.
It is in an older building that has been gutted and the interior is being completely re-done. It should be done in about 3 weeks. I have already started working on my first Diamond order.
Woo hoo!
